A rebuilt WordPress/WooCommerce e-commerce website for a hardware and tools store, including data migration, product organization, custom product gallery video support, and a simplified quick-order system adapted for local customers.
What was built.
Motamayiz Store is an e-commerce website for a hardware store specializing in tools, construction supplies, and professional equipment.
The project involved rebuilding the website on a clean WordPress installation after the previous version had technical issues caused by an unstable setup and a broken theme. The work included migrating over 100 users and around 1000 products to the new installation, while reorganizing product data, categories, images, and store structure.
To improve the shopping experience, I also developed custom WordPress functionality for the store. This included a custom plugin that adds video support to the product gallery, allowing products to be displayed with both images and videos. I also created a quick-order plugin to simplify the buying process and make ordering easier for customers, especially in a local e-commerce context where fast contact and simple checkout matter.
The goal was to turn the store into a cleaner, more stable, and easier-to-manage e-commerce platform, with a better product presentation and a smoother ordering experience across desktop and mobile.
